Yiğit

breaking stuff • tr • 16

hi, i'm yiğit 👋 i'm 16 and this is my backstory. i've basically been messing around with computers since i was 7. when i was 9, i got my hands on an arduino for the first time and that pulled me into the whole embedded world (at least for a while, even though i had no idea what embedded is). at 10–11, i thought i could learn c (yeah… i thought it was an easy language lol). that went horribly and i understood nothing, so i switched over to html and css.

at 12, i started learning javascript and python. like every beginner maker, i picked up an ender 3 pro and spent a ton of time tinkering with it. by 13, i knew enough js, python, html, and css to make small projects on my own, and i had beginner–intermediate knowledge of c#. around that time, i also stepped away from 3d printing for a bit.

when i turned 14, the real maker–tinkerer arc started. i built a voron trident and said why don't we design our own printers and co-founded pole engineering with some friends. we've been designing our own printer crossant there for the past 2 years. around then, i also shifted more into hardware and embedded systems, pcb design, and all that good stuff. right now, i'm still working on projects at pole (cncs, pick-and-place machines, etc).

i really like making and listening to music besides doing tech stuff btw! here's a small playlist!
